In the midst of this world wide assault on humanity by a virus, I am writing to encourage you to shelter in place, let your memories of life’s goodness surround you in the present times, and dream of future travels and fresh experiences to cherish. As spring emerges here in the Northeast with longer days, wamer temps, and the earliest of bulbs in bloom, we are reminded of nature’s way and also encouraged to get outdoors, keeping our distance, and walking. Nature is one of the best healers on the planet and now more than ever we need to immerse ourselves in the beauty that surrounds us with birds singing, ancient trees growing, and bulbs blooming. Savour the sun and moon rising and setting. The starry sky can offer us peace as another day ends. Take time to find beauty that is near you and breathe deeply. I wish you all a safe journey through this challenge with dreams of traveling afar soon.
