We will strive to accommodate all women's  wishes and needs as we travel together.   Diverse desires, goals, personalities, and abilities make for an exciting mix of expectations and dreams.   The Serendipity Traveler leader on tour with you will exercise their best judgment should decisions for the group be necessary and we will look for consensus on those decisions.   In the event, due to circumstance beyond our control, that changes must occur, we will make our best effort to minimize the change while maintaining our standards and perhaps even view the change as for the best.   Trip members agree to pay any additional expense(s) incurred by any such change(s) and will receive a refund of any savings that might be realized.

As a participant, it is your responsibility to choose a trip that meets your physical abilities and to be in good health.   Medical facilities and services vary and may not be readily available.   Most of our trips are tailored to physical ability associated with ordinary daily activities.   In Europe, we will walk a great deal when touring cities and hill towns, etc.   When beyond the usual, or requiring additional ability, we will note it.   Please check with your health care provider to insure that you have the required inoculations, if any, and that you carry such proof of inoculation on a valid vaccination certificate where required.

We strongly recommend that participants purchase travel insurance to protect against non-refundable costs such as medical emergencies, a cancelled trip, lost bags, or any other covered trip related expense.   We cannot make exceptions to our refund policies.   Participants should confirm that their medical insurance covers expenses while traveling (especially outside the country) or arrange for supplemental and/or alternate medical insurance.

The right is retained to decline to accept or to retain any person as a trip member should such person’s health, mental condition, physical infirmity or attitude jeopardize the operation of the trip or the rights, welfare, or enjoyment of other participants.   In the unlikely event that a traveler is removed from a tour, Serendipity Traveler will not be responsible in any way for the traveler’s expenses to return home.   Should a traveler choose to leave a tour voluntarily, Serendipity Traveler will require a signed statement indicating the traveler’s decision to voluntarily leave the tour and Serendipity Traveler will not be responsible in any way for the traveler’s expenses to return home.
