You are invited to join us to begin summer 2013 and discover the diverse essence of Wyoming.  Located in northwestern Wyoming, Grand Teton National Park preserves a landscape including majestic mountains, pristine lakes and extraordinary wildlife.  You will situate comfortably in Jackson Hole at the mountainside lodges in Teton Village.  The village is perched on the doorstep of the Grand Teton National Park where nature and humankind converge under the phenomenal blue Wyoming sky.  What better way to unwind and refresh your spirits than walking in the great outdoors? 

Upon arrival, you will join others for a welcome dinner to meet each other and Serendipity Traveler founder, Peggy Coonley, who will be with you for our days in Wyoming.  We will enjoy walks in the Grand Teton National Park using the knowledge and trail information from our local experts together with the self guided trails and ranger led walks within the park.  We will walk the trails that match abilities from a stroll in the morning to an afternoon hike.  We have a special morning walk planned with one of the region's finest naturalists and guides.  The women on our previous Wyoming trips thoroughly enjoyed the expertise and in depth knowledge of the area on this outing.  We will hike to Hidden Falls at Jenny Lake and cross the glacial lake via boat to begin one of our hikes.  

Women travelers will access the Snake River in the Jackson area as it winds through magnificent stretches of mountain landscapes.  The scenic float trip is peaceful and breathtaking.  You may spot some eagles and will surely see beaver lodges, as well as unparallelled views of the Teton range as our river guide shares stories of the area to enrich our float trip meandering the river.  A visit to the town of Jackson Hole will provide a glimpse into the western lifestyle.  Numerous shops and galleries feature everything western from cowgirl boots to bronze sculptured horses and inspiring photography.  On the mountain you can ride the gondola for a panoramic view and, when we visit the Grand Teton National Park visitor centers, learn about the history, people and cultures of this fascinating region.Horseback riding at one of the stunning local ranches is fun and optional if you wish.
