Upon arrival, women travelers gather for a welcome dinner in Jackson Hole to meet each other and Serendipity Traveler founder Peggy Coonley who will be with you for our week in Wyoming. We will enjoy walks in the Grand Teton National Park using the knowledge and trail information from our local experts together with the self guided trails and ranger led walks within the park. We will walk and hike the trails that match abilities from a stroll in the morning to an afternoon hike. Our female guide for a morning hike is also one of the region's best. The women on our Wyoming trips thoroughly enjoy her expertise and in depth knowledge of the area. Women traveling will access the Snake River in the Jackson area as it winds through magnificent stretches of mountain landscapes . The scenic float trip is adventuresome and breathtaking. You may spot some eagles and will surely see beaver condos as well as unparallelled views of the Teton range as our river guide shares stories of the area to enrich our float trip meandering the river. Yellowstone National Park, the world's first national park, is approximately 1½ hours from Jackson Hole. You can opt to spend an entire day there on a photographic safari to capture the highlights of this place of spectacular unmatched beauty. Our optional Yellowstone expedition will be led by a biologist/guide, formerly with the Teton Science School, who is recognized as one of the best naturalist guides in the region. Optional horseback riding at one of the ranches in the region is also optional.
Before heading towards home, we have arranged for each woman to indulge at one of the finest local spas. We include an hour long swedish massage with a blend of alpine herbs, flowers and spices to help warm the body, ease muscular tension and eliminate harmful toxins including fir, calendula, yarrow and comfrey which are grown and gathered locally for your distinctly healing, hour-long relaxing therapeutic massage.
