This morning you will arrive in London and our driver will take us to the delightful Knightsbridge neighborhood where we will perch for our days in London. Peggy Coonley, the founder of Serendipity Traveler, will join travelers for the duration of our time together. A lovely walking tour of London's Royal Parks will launch our time together. Later today we visit Westminster Abbey where magnificent organ concerts are held every Sunday. This is an intimate way to experience the majestic medieval Abbey and begin your week discovering the gems of London and Paris. D

This morning is one for wandering. Our excellent English walking guide will share with us some of the known and lesser known London gems after which you may perhaps stroll to Harrods or the Victoria and Albert Museum or taxi to the Tate. Late afternoon, we will savour Tea at The Ritz, a thoroughly British tradition, before going to the theatre in the West End this evening for those who wish. B, Tea at The Ritz

Early this morning, we will depart for a sampler of the quintessential Cotswolds villages and, of course, lunch at one of the excellent Cotswold pubs. We will meander the known and lesser known villages nestled in the mid Cotswolds before returning to London. B & Pub Lunch

Today we depart London early for our short Eurostar train journey to the center of Paris.
The way to best experience Paris is on foot. Meander through the quartiers and distill the essence of Parisian life amidst the cafes, architecture, fashion, gardens, museums, and cathedrals. Drop your bags and you can continue to gather the essence of Paris discovering the quintessential neighborhoods that are the heartbeat of Paris. We will gather tonight for dinner at one of the intimate café’s in our Paris neighborhood which locals know to be delightful. B, D

We begin today with a walking tourof the gems of Paris this morning. We will then wander to the Rue Cler and lunch amidst the markets cafes and shops. Perhaps you may wish to visit the Louvre, St. Sulpice or Musee Cluny this afternoon. We gather this evening to board our river vessel at the Eiffel Tower where we will sip Champagne while taking in the views of the city along the Seine. B, L

A short train ride from Paris is the village that captured Monet’s heart; the village of Giverny. Giverny (pronounced Jee-va-nyee) is located on the right bank of the River Seine at the entrance to Normandy. We will visit Monet’s house and gardens where the impressionist painters of the day congregated. A tour of the Museum of Impressionism will enhance our knowledge of the painters of the movement. This will be a leisurely day out of the city in the gardens, house and museum of Giverny. B & Lunch at Giverny

Today is the day when the city bustles with Saturday markets and we will start the day with the Parisians at their outdoor markets. We will be strolling with the locals, savouring the French way of life and immersed in the culture as we spend our time tasting, smelling, seeing, and shopping for all things French. We will have time today to visit parts of the city still to be explored, Montmarte, The Latin quartier, and others. For those not continuing on to Brugges we will celebrate with a farewell dinner this evening.

Today you will fly home enriched by a taste of two of the world’s grand cities. Allow 3 hours for check in at Charles DeGaulle. Planning an afternoon departure gives you time for a leisurely morning in Paris before departing to the airport.B
