California Dreaming October 2009 trip now Closed Reserve for Spring April 17-23, 2010
When you want an adventure closer to home, California is a dream. The sophistication and cultural diversity in San Francisco, the magnificence of the coast, wine country, and seductive climate make this trip a favorite. Read The Sunday New York Times, March 29, 2009, piece on Point Lobos, one of my favorite places to explore, then reserve this trip and be sure to bring your camera, sketchbook, journal or perhaps your knitting. You can sit by the sea, walk by the sea, and let yourself unwind while California dreaming. Breathe amidst the magnificence of the California Coast on this California Dreaming trip. You begin your trip by immersing yourself in the essence of the diverse cultures of San Francisco. We drive across the landmark Golden Gate Bridge to tour the Napa wine region before traveling south to charming Carmel by the Sea, one of America's favorties. We settle in Carmel by the Sea to continue our discovery of the spectacular Pacific coast. Further south, Point Lobos and then the wild and pristine region known as Big Sur will provide you with numerous photographic options, beach walks, and Pacific Coast memories. California sunshine seems to permeate the mood with invigorating energy. Our accomodations are fine and dining in California is an experience all to itself. Join us to experience this remarkable region of America and let your dreams continue long after we leave.
