As we approach St. Patrick’s Day in America, I am thinking of our trips to Ireland. Visiting the land of myths and legends, we tour the Southern regions of Ireland and tuck into some splendid properties after a day exploring. One of my favorites is in Kenmare, a charming small town close to the stunning Beara Peninsula. Our hosts are a lovely couple notable in the village for their hospitality and legendary cooking. I have now stayed at this property a handful of times and with each visit Moira and Tom extend the warmest of welcomes and offer to do whatever they can to make our stay pleasant. This is the style of travel that women love. When possible, I will always select a smaller property that has a history of hospitality and well managed kindness. If you have wanted to experience Ireland how the locals do then join us for our Southern Ireland small group women’s tour.
