We begin our annual English Garden tour in London, one of the world’s favorite bustling cities. I am a country woman at heart and yet I always look forward to being amidst the quintessential British ways in London. Who doesn’t love a pot of tea and a scone in the afternoon, walking amidst centuries of history, and attending theatre where Shakespeare got his start? London in any season shares her charms. Last autumn, returning from our South Africa tour, I spent a few days in London stopping to sip tea. The drizzle was misty as I walked and walked some more. Stopping in at The British Museum for afternoon tea, I embraced the art of slower travel while immersing myself in all that is London. I’m looking forward to May and another few days in London during the world famous Chelsea Flower Show.
