Just home from our recent jaunt to Charleston and Savannah with another group of clients. I'm always happy to watch how women come together, become acquainted and make new friends. The joys of traveling are many and connecting with women who share varied common interests and the love of travel enriches us all.
Our trip went smoothly with high marks for the accommodations, tour guides, curated itinerary and dining out. My favorites were Slightly North of Broadway or SNOB in Charleston and the 1790 House with a sailor ghost in Savannah. Both dining experiences were excellent. Soft shell Crab, Collard Greens, Fried Green Tomatoes, She Crab Soup, Red Trout, Spring Lamb from a local farm, Salmon and, of course, Pecan Pie and Georgia Peach Cobbler. Good thing we walked a lot exploring both cities. The azaleas were outstanding at Middleton Place and the Historic Houses in both cities were remarkable. Many memories made and fresh experiences to inspire.
